No problem. And I meant to say the Cornish is a cut down version of the extension. I just peeked at Western Mainlines, and I am not sure how much of the track is covered, but “Plymouth Up Portal” exists heading towards Laira.
I think it’s a safe presumption that all portals within the route itself are consistent, so provided there is a “Plymouth Up Portal” at the truncation in Cornish Main Line (even if slightly earlier), all scenarios should therefore work on Western Main Lines, and any scenario maker using WML just needs to ensure AI does not go east of Plymouth with exception of entering the Up portal and their scenarios should work on the standalone Cornish as well.

That is the one from Steam. Which contradicts your statement. And, as I noted, since that’s the actual JT route, provided you can identify the portal beyond Plymouth to Laira and beyond to match, every single scenario will therefore also work on Western Mainlines, and anyone wanting to could even edit additional AI services and drive further if they really want to. Also of note, Western Mainlines is literally 50% off right now. The extension collection is currently regular price, however. Without the extensions, you would have no scenery, but the scenarios I believe would still operate because the track is there. Just add the scenery later with the South Devon and you have the entire journey to Paddington and Bristol.
Jolly Good. I recommend to anyone looking to play these scenarios to have as much of the requirements as you can as some scenarios can have quite a variety specially the Riviera Line section between Newton Abbot and Exeter.
Since the extension is more or less a cut down version of the full route into extension form and was released to Steam long after it came out at JT (the original add-on to the route was merely adding scenery to empty track, which is why BHBP has empty spots in this area), all of the portals should more or less match and scenarios should work. Check each portal via RWInfo and it should be possible to say all scenarios should work. NJCL and Morristown is an example of an expanded route missing a portal that may cause a train to stall somewhere on the mainline, but the Cornish should not have this issue. Players can place all scenarios in 76e7c6a5-67b5-4674-b4fb-b0f4663c1d4b and play them, and if any have issues we can find out why. =)
