Easter 2019 West Country HST twin pack – v1.1
1st May 2019A pair of scenarios for Just Trains’ Western Mainlines + South Devon Extension + Cornish Main Line Extension, set over the Easter 2019 weekend. GWR’s full length High Speed Trains are in their final months on front-line duties. The West Country routes retain a few daily workings. Both scenarios utilise the same set, with celebrity power car 43185 at the London end. Both scenarios feature the actual formations of player train and AI allocated on the day.
Updated to v1.1 12/05/19 to resolve an A.I. collision in scenario 2.
1. 1A83 09.47 Penzance – London Paddington
It’s Easter Sunday and the weather is glorious. Today you have celebrity power car 43185 at the head of your train, which you are booked to drive as far as Exeter. Enjoy it while you can.
2. 2Z42 08.22 Plymouth – Penzance
It’s Easter Monday and the weather remains fantastic. In order to provide additional capacity for returning holidaymakers, the 1200 from Plymouth to Paddington is starting from Penzance, and running in the path of the Sprinter service that normally provides the connection. To position the set, the HST is replacing the Sprinter on its outward working, 2C42 0524 Bristol to Penzance. You are rostered to work this service from Plymouth, under the headcode 2Z42.

Hi, I got an AI collision just after the start. 1S43 going straight into the back of 2G64 at Devonport. I noticed in railworks tools they are both in the same signal block and both due to start at 0814 and have changed the start time of 1S43 to 0816. This seems to have solved it. As there are no other comments is this just me getting this? Thanks for the scenario 🙂
Hi. No it hasn’t been reported but clearly there’s a problem. It didn’t crop up when I tested but this game seems to do odd things. I’m away for a couple of days but will try to have a look at the weekend.
