Here is a modification to allow the Armstrong Powerhouse DBSO to be Driveable. This mod is by no means perfect but it is functional and I think a welcome addition to TS. Details of Requirements and How To Use can be found in the manual. Hope You Enjoy !!!]
This Mod includes 2 Free roam scenarios, one for DTG GEML London to Ipswich and one for AP Wherry Lines.

Hi, I have tried to create a free roam with the DBSO on Edinburgh to Glasgow but it does t load the DBSO as a driveable consist. Do I need to tick something or amend something to make is show up in the free roam creator?
The Anglia and DRS ones are awesome.

Is this ever getting an update? It has some problems such as the horn is too loud, theres a random light underneath the DBSO and it coasts awfully, the front window is also difficult too see out of
Ive managed to get it in game now, but it doesnt let me mark it as drivable and it doesnt let me go into the cab (Im using the Network rail version and I cant find a Drivable prefix version)
UPDATE: I had windows permission issue when installing the update, so now it works great, the horn is just a bit too loud for comfort
Hi, I tried using this pack but every time I load the free roam scenario it says

I tried manually adding them in but when I load them in the editor they show up, but in game they dont
same it not working error says i need apw class 37 i have it as i have the AP wherry line route.
How do you get it to move? I have put the reverser to forward, Power handle up and released the brake, but the train will not move at all.
Hi, I believe I have all the necessary requirements and have followed the download instructions however I cannot load in my directory, the loading circle just keeps rotating! Any suggestions what I’ve done wrong?
I think this needs an update. When I loaded the scenario the DBSO was too close to the next coach. It derails if you attempt to decouple them and they probably cannot be pushed together. (Kinda like the mk4 coaches) Guessing an update to the AP DBSO may have broke the patch.
When will this be compatible with QD?
When you load up a QD consist, go into the editor and tick the Gatwick Class 73 Pack, it should then work (I think).
it does not work!! i tried to drive it, but i couldn’t because it gave me an error message!! FIX THIS PLEASE!!!!
Same problem here. Gave me an error when I tried to load a consist with it in QD.
It’s not QD Compatible at the moment
Cracking mod, works fine for me with Mk2DBSO & Class73Pack ticked in the editor.
I do have one problem though; with the headights on I seem to have a stray light floating near the track about half way along. It’s not there when the headlights are off (or when the tail lights are on). I suspect it might be something from the cabview as my non-driveable DBSOs don’t seem to have it when set with headlights on; other settings for cab/instrument lights don’t seem to affect it.

I found it to be the forward-throwing headlight. I was able to move it to be roughly in the headlight position, but it could do with some rotation to tilt it down a bit to sort out the beam pattern (it looks odd as seen out of the cab window); but fiddling with rotation matrices is for another day! To put it ‘in’ the headlight, I set elements 13, 14, & 15 in the matrix for child ‘Fwd_Headlight01’ to:

Try reinstalling the patch, it has a custom horn which should work
I can’t get these working. I’ve followed the instructions, and they do show up in the list while creating custom consists, but they don’t physically show up on the screen. The preview is blank. Tried adding one to a train anyway and start a Quick Drive, but that failed to load.
Hi, Followed instructions carefully and have all listed content but does not work! LW’s scenario loads and will display cab view but not the Driveable DBSO. Quick drive will not display the driveable DBSO as an option so it cant be selected. Any ideas?
Idk you have the BH Reskins DRS DBSO Reskins fully installed before installing this pack? And do you have all of the requirements? This patch is unfortunately not QD Compatible
To my knowledge this Patch isn’t Quick Drive compatible unfortunately, it can be used in Scenarios and Free Roam scenarios
Great idea, been wanting to be able to drive the DBSO for a long time.
One question though, how do you get into the cab ? ‘1’ on the keyboard doesn’t allow access into the cab.
I have followed the instructions in the ‘ReadMe’ to the letter.
Hi There, You need to make sure you are using a variant prefixed with “Driveable” to be able to place a driver icon and you must have the Class 73 pack ticked in the scenario
Hi there, Please Amie sure you have the Class 73 pack ticked in the editor, this is the only reason I can think it wouldn’t work. Also make sure you use the version named “Driveable xxxxxx”
