This evening, you will start off the overnight Mondays and Thursdays only trip working from Willesden with CO2 tanks for the Cameronbridge whisky distillery outside Leven, Scotland. Start up 86633 ‘Wulfruna’ at Wembley Sidings, collect the wagons and begin the journey north as traffic is winding down. On this warm summer’s evening, you should get a clear run up via Northampton as far as Rugby where you will be relieved. After the train has made its way up the WCML during the night, you will continue the final part of the journey in Scotland in part 2.
