This route upgrade is based on Danny’s Settle – Carlisle Electric upgrade (Steam). Thanks to Danny’s permission i refined the route a bit. Please don’t expect graphical fireworks. This was the situation a good four years ago and nothing has changed significantly since then.

This is a fictitious extension of the original Settle to Carlisle line. It is set in the year 2026 – so it is purely fictional. A large part of the British railway network has been electrified – including the route to Leeds. This means that a large part of the freight traffic towards Leeds will also be diverted onto this route. Northern organizes local passenger transport – Freight transport is shared by several companies (there may be some that no longer exist in reality). Intercity service from Carlisle to Leeds are operated by Locomotive Services Limited.

– known problem with sunken passengers on platforms in Settle and Appleby could not be solved

– not compatible with previous scenarios (Settle – Carlisle or Dannys Settle – Carlisle Electric)
