First Great Western hired in a number of Class 150s from Arriva Trains Wales while it waited for the arrival of the 150/1s from London Overground and London Midland.

Most but not all of the ATW fleet made appearances for FGW and I have researched for this pack to reflect that, some units may have only been used by FGW for 1 day, my research showed that units numbered 150267 and above were the most regular performers for FGW.

Destinations

As the units on hire were swapped frequently they were not fitted with FGW destinations blinds and mostly ran blank, if running back into ATW territory then a destination may occasionaly have be shown.

I have made a bat file to a form a custom destinations set as follows –

B – Cardiff Central

C – Cheltenham Spa

D – Gloucester

H – Not in Public Use

I – Empty to Depot

J – Special

These are aligned to the same letters as the Wessex Trains/FGW destination sets – All other destinations are BLANK
