[CH] *Full Run* 6Z40 13:40 Mountsorrel GBRf – Bredbury Tilcon (2018)
12th September 2025This is a scenario featuring the following Just Trains Midland Mainline extensions: Derby, Nottingham & Leicester, Erewash Valley line, Sheffield to Derby, Hope Valley.
You’re in charge of 6Z40, an extra stone working from Mountsorrel to Bredbury, hauled by 66711 ‘Sence’. Today you’ll be taking a rake of 22 fully loaded HYA-B wagons all the way to Bredbury, running via Toton, the Erewash Valley line, and the Peak Forest line. It’s an absolute scorcher outside, it’s probably wise to have the “cooling” screen on the EM2000. You have 2,220 tons on the hook so you may want to make plentiful use of notch 8. Pay close attention to signals, to ensure a safe arrival to Bredbury.
A preload scenario has been included for those experiencing the Out of Memory errors if loading the scenario straight from launch. Simply run this before running the main scenario.
A “Lite” version has also been included, for lower end machines, featuring less “loose consists” in yards.

Lovely lenghty run!
Two issues I encountered: the signal after Chesterfield showed double-yellow instead of red, and the signal before Romilly had to be tabbed.
Glad to hear you enjoyed. Not a clue what’s going on at Chesterfield, it was doing that to me during testing. I found if you save the scenario before getting to Chesterfield then reload it from that sometimes the signal will work. As for the Romilly signal thanks for letting me know.
Thank you – a really interesting scenario
Cheers Tim
Very challenging but enjoyable scenario, some of those inclines were unreal. Thank you for sharing!
