This is a scenario for the Liverpool to Manchester Revamped route, available on Steam Workshop.

The Castlefield Corridor between Manchester Piccadilly and Ordsall Lane Junction is well known for congestion and delays due to the volume of trains using the route. You start at Manchester Oxford Road with a Liverpool service formed of a Class 156 and 150/1, working one of the hourly Northern Trains services via the Cheshire Lines route and calling at most stations. Services have been running relatively smoothly so far, but traffic levels mean that could quickly change.
