This download contains a scenario each for the ATS TPE Merge and the Manchester Stations to Huddersfield Route.

Between the 2nd and 26th May 2026, TransPennine Express services were diverted via the Calder Valley due to engineering works, resulting in a number of unusual STP workings across the North West. One such example is 1Z07/5W07, a two-part scenario built around Class 185 operation during this period of disruption.

1Z07 itself was created from the retimed path of 9E07, originally the 0723 Liverpool departure, which was altered to allow for the revised running times caused by Calder Valley diversions. In Part 1, you take control of a single Class 185 working from Liverpool to Stalybridge, operating a timed passenger service through the morning peak using these adjusted paths.

In Part 2, the focus shifts to the return ECS movement, as you work the same unit back from Stalybridge to Ardwick depot via Guide Bridge as 5W07, before it continues onward to its next booked duty on the Manchester Airport to Oxenholme service later that evening. This scenario provides a realistic depiction of diagrammed unit utilisation, pathing adjustments and empty stock positioning across a busy Manchester rail network during engineering constraints.
