This is a scenario for DTG’s WCML South Route.

On 19th November 2015, Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh embarked on a special journey aboard the Royal Train from London Euston to Birmingham New Street to commemorate the completion of the station’s £600 million redevelopment.

As part of the royal visit, the Queen and Duke were there to unveil a commemorative plaque marking the reopening of the newly refurbished station, which had undergone extensive modernization to improve passenger experience and connectivity. Their visit highlighted the importance of the station as a major transport hub in the heart of Birmingham.

The royal couple’s presence on this significant day was a symbol of support for the city’s infrastructure and development, with the Queen and Duke meeting staff and apprentices involved in the project.

In this scenario, you’ll be tasked with running the Royal Train non-stop between London Euston and Birmingham New Street, ensuring a smooth, punctual, and secure journey for the royal party, all while managing the luxuriousness on the drawbar of 67005.
