4th March 2025This is a scenario for the WCML South, London to Birmingham.
The summer of 2002 saw Britain basking in a relentless heatwave, and today is no exception. With temperatures soaring, conditions on the West Coast Main Line are already challenging, but to make matters worse, a TDM failure means that 87002 ‘Royal Sovereign’, must lead this Virgin Trains service from Birmingham New Street to London Euston.
Departing from Birmingham New Street, you’ll be handling this train down the busy WCML, managing speed and signals as you push south toward Euston, calling at all Virgin served stations along the way. Keep an eye out on those neutral sections and make sure your cab has plenty of ventilation! Date: 29th July 2002.

Hi Chuntley,
Really great looking scenario however I seem to have hit a small issue. When loading in several services appear to be broken with no valid destination. When loading in scenario editor the services in question have no destination set against them.
I have all requirements including MJWs useful scenarios tools for portal placement but it looks like those portals haven’t spawned in for some reason. As a result the services paths are broken.
I also needed to swap out the Bodge it Ex NSE 321s for the most up to date version from his pack on ATS which had a different title allocation.
Sorry to report the issue or if it’s anything I may have mucked up but just wondered if there was anything you could advise as it looks to be cracking scenario.

Hi, my first port of call would’ve been “Do you have all requirements?” (Which you do) after a long and hard thought, do you have the ATS Northampton loop. I built it on the “WCML South Full”.
HI, many thanks for getting back to me. I now have the ATS Northampton Loop and that has sorted the issue so many thanks for pointing me in the right direction. It’s an absolutely superb scenario and so glad I could play it in full now. Really appreciate the help. Incidentally were you aware the readme attached to the scenarios seems to be for 1Q52 20:05 Derby RTC – St Pancras?

Had it dump just past Lawley Street constantly looked at the seat til Stechford and jobs a good un. AMAZING AI and 10/10 for this scenario real busy and loved it! Great work sir!
