A 45ish minute scenario for DTG’s Leeds to Manchester route featuring a local stopping service on the once-a-day extension of the Stalybridge/Manchester local service, from Greenfield to Manchester Victoria, as well as the inbound empty coaching stock from Longsight. You’ll begin at Stalybridge with a brief wait before heading up to Diggle Junction, where upon arrival you will then head back on yourself to Greenfield where the service starts. Class 101s were still the common choice of traction for local services between Manchester and Stalybridge however due to a failure you have a class 142 for the first part of this diagram.
