[Ashindac] 1H03 11:48 London Kings Cross – Hull (2007)
23rd February 2026It’s April 2007, and on the East Coast Main Line, the Class 222 has faithfully served Hull Trains for almost two years. After a recent incident involving a collapsing maintenance jack at Crofton works, set 222103 ‘Dr John Godber’ is currently out of action, and a replacement is yet to be found, placing extra strain on the three remaining sets.
Still, it’s business as usual for you today, as you’ll be taking set 222104 ‘Sir Terry Farrell’ out of Kings Cross on the first northbound service of the day. Sadly, we can only go as far as Selby at the moment, but it’s still a good two-hour run with plenty of opportunities to get up to speed.
This is a 2-hour scenario for the ATS ECML Leeds and York Merge. Due to the density of AI traffic around the London area, you may wish to save periodically in case of crashes.

Really enjoyable scenario, thank you!
Only thing I will say is that the AI GNER 225 sets are the wrong way around (DVT should face London), and by 2007, they all (I think) had red doors, rather than the original livery.
Very pleasant run there Ash however a few things puzzled me about the scenario
1) the Ai at the ESR didn’t slow down to 20MPH and just passed the the level crossing at normal speed
2) no warnings on the track at all about the ESR to alert drivers about it was
apart from that it was a nice run to drive the 222
Thanks for the heads-up. Not sure about the AI problem but I’ll see what I can do. The missing speed warning is an oversight on my part so I’ll get that sorted.
