It’s closed season on the Paignton and Dartmouth Railway, and time for some track work at the southern end
of the line. A consignment of ballast has been purchased from Meldon Quarry, and BR have been tasked with
delivering it – the P&DR is main line connected after all. On a damp October Friday, work this one-off
service through to Kingswear. Year : 1993.
