Ok, it’s a blatant pre-electrification scenario set in the early 1980s. If you’re ok with that then carry on reading……

Drive 6D47 Rylstone Tilcon to Hull Dairycoates Tilcon from Skipton as far as Leeds. Pairs of class 31 locos were used at the time to haul the Tilcon PGA wagons. A total of 33 wagons were made for Tilcon. I have seen video of 30 being hauled by two 31s. In is scenario you have 26, which is still a good workout for your locos. TSRollingStock freeware PGAs are used as a close substitute for the Tilcons.

Along the way you will see other period correct freight including bitumen (Ellesmere Port to Skipton), Coal (for local delivery, Carlisle and Scotland), Scrap Metals (Crossley’s in Shipley).

As well as local DMU traffic, loco hauled passenger express trains head north to cross the Settle and Carlisle line.

Hi y'all, Nick here. I joined the trainsimverse at the launch of Railworks 2 and lived through the many core updates and improvements (sometimes not) over the years. I was a frequent visitor to UKTS and posted my first few scenarios there. I took a 5-year break at the end of 2018, returning at the end of 2023, and have been quite an active train simmer ever since. Most of my scenarios are in BR Blue days, since the time that I grew up. I have a collection under the same user name, mouse101uk, on Steam Workshop. I don't know a lot about recent railway developments in the UK, especially since I moved to Texas in 2005. Although I have tried every iteration of TSW and have about 40 DLC, I always end up coming back to TSC. I prefer the gameplay (or should I say simplay?).
