Albeit several months (in fact, is it years now…?) late, the next batch of WMT Class 170s are ready for transfer to EMR following the delayed introduction of their Class 196 units. Today, the first 2 sets, 170508 & 170509, are running from Tyseley to Barrow Hill prior to them being commissioned for EMR use. You join the transfer at Derby and will take them through to Barrow Hill. Year: 2022
