As far as intermodal workings go, it’s a fairly short one (train length wise) for this 1-a-day service between Freightliner’s Cardiff and Southampton terminals. Having departed South Wales 20 late you’re very much on the back foot as you approach Salisbury. Not helping is delays to SWR services also, owing to an operational incident.
