2nd October 2025It’s that time of year again when the ‘wrong types of leaves’ cause havoc on the railways, particularly on a gradient intensive route like this one. It’s the first day of operations so you’ve got a rather immaculate MPV for the afternoon run down to Longsight from Buxton.

Notes: The distant signal (FV5) is for whatever reason missing between Whaley Bridge and Furness Vale. For those with the ATS Common Library, a Pway man with a yellow handsignal is in place to warn you. (A ticket has been raised with JT).

Sorry to hear that. The HYA pack can often be a troublemaker for me, one of the Touax liveried wagons appeared blacked out when I passed it on Stockport viaduct. I’ll keep an eye on things.
