2O84 2046 Manchester Oxford Road to Liverpool Lime Street
15th May 2025The Deansgate corridor can be a time warp at the best of times. Trains every couple of minutes cutting right through the heart of Manchester to far flung destinations…and Cleethorpes. That means when disaster strikes it doesn’t do it by half measures. Thankfully it’s linked to Merseyside by 2 railways: Cheshire Lines and Chat Moss. Although you should be on the former, it’s actually the latter that will save the day.

I managed to run this scenario in the end by clearing my game cache fantastic scenario thanks
A very pleasant yellow chasing down the Chat Moss, thank you for sharing!
I would advise ecr216 to make sure your route is up to date as it underwent at least one major update during its lifetime.
Couldn’t play this scenario as it dumped for me with an error during loading but thank you anyway
Sorry you’re having trouble.
I ran this scenario with the “View Distance” and “Water Quality” toggled one below max if that’s worth trying.
I’d be tempted to try and remove the Class 390 loose consist (via TS Tools) that appears in platform 10 at Lime Street, they tend to have an impact on performance.
Ideally there were 2 AI trains that I would’ve liked to remove via portals but it was causing conflicts with the player train so they do get left over in the Deansgate/Ordsall area.
I’ll keep an eye on things and if it crops up with others I’ll go back to the drawing board.
