SWR operates two semi fast trains per hour from London Waterloo to Basingstoke. Many of these trains are lengthened to 12 coaches to cope with demand from the sprawling Farnborough/Aldershot/Camberley conurbation. Drive the 12:12 service all the way to Basingstoke; calling at Clapham Junction, Surbiton, Walton-on-Thames, Weybridge, Woking, Brookwood, Farnborough, Fleet, Winchfield and Hook.

Class 701s have been replaced by Class 707s and Class 458s with 450s.
