DESCRIPTION: Engineering work between Westbury and Newbury has seen tonight’s usual Great Western route unavailable and services running via Bristol. Tonight, you are forming one of the back-workings from the diverted 16:30 Paddington to Paignton. You join the train to work 2E57, the 20:44 service to Exeter St Davids, before running back ECS to Laira as 5P50. It’s a mild spring evening across Devon with light traffic around, so enjoy the rolling hills as they fade into the dusk. Year: 2019
