Wandsworth Council are hosting their annual fireworks display in Battersea Park and passengers are flooding the nearby stations of Battersea Park, Clapham Junction and Queenstown Road. You’ll be the first Southern Metro service to stop in this area after the events conclusion. As it’s last thing on a Sunday night, services are short formed and infrequent so overcrowding is likely. 

Owing to engineering works, Southern are only running half the service they would usually run on this route. Your train would normally continue to Epsom Downs but is terminated early at West Croydon for this exact reason. Thameslink are also diverting trains through Norbury and Streatham as the line via Norwood Junction is closed.
