A bitesize scenario between Milton Keynes Central and Rugby for the brilliant WCML South route. By
employing 86259 “Les Ross” on the London end of their regular “Cumbrian Mountain Express” operations, The Railway Touring Company and West Coast Railways are able to secure sociable departure and return times, and decent paths on the congested soutern section of the West Coast Main Line. However, even this one-time king of the road has to be relegated to the Slow lines occasionally to accommodate the frequent service now in operation. The formation of the train is not 100% accurate as some vehicles are not available, and the wonderful AP mark 2s are used as I enjoy virtual window-hanging – but please, do not do this out there on the main line. Year : 2019.
