DESCRIPTION: The heat is already building across the Midland Main Line as you step into the cab at Derby. You’re in charge of 1S39, a CrossCountry service heading north to Edinburgh, for the short run through to Sheffield. With earlier disruption further south now behind you, it’s a fairly straightforward trip, calling at Chesterfield before the final stretch into south Yorkshire. Year: 2022
