Update 1.01 – missing requirement added to list (Class 322 North Western Trains reskin)

It’s a fine late spring day, and you’ll be driving 1M94, the 0630 departure from London Euston to Glasgow Central. The four scenarios in this pack allow you to drive the full run as follows:

Part 1: DTG WCML South – London Euston to Rugby (65 minutes)
Part 2: DTG WCML Trent Valley – Rugby to Stafford (50 minutes)
Part 3: ATS WCML Midlands and North West – Stafford to Preston (70 minutes)
Part 4: ATS WCML North West and Scotland – Preston to Glasgow Central (160 minutes)

Your traction is the AP Class 87 in Virgin Trains Livery. Year: 1998.

AUTHOR’S NOTE

This is my first attempt at scenarios this far back in the past. I’ve researched the pack carefully to make it realistic for the period it is set in but there may be some errors liveries or formations that have crept in. Let me know in the comments if you spot anything amiss.

INSTALLATION

Copy the included “Content” folder into your “Railworks” folder. This can usually be found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common. If you are having trouble locating the folder, go to your Steam library, right click on “Train Simulator” and choose “Properties” from the menu. In the pop-up window that opens, click the “Local Files” tab near the top and then click on the button marked “Browse Local Files”. This will open your “Railworks” folder.
Please note that this pack is quite demanding. 16Gb RAM is recommended.

REQUIREMENTS

Web links to all requirements are provided in the included Readme file. There is also a spreadsheet included that shows which DLC is required for which scenario. Some of these items have their own requirements and you should carefully check the download page to ensure that you have all of them. The exception to that is the downloads of the Virtual District Line and the freeware WCML South v5.3. These are needed to create the Bakerloo Line tube trains seen in part 1. You do not need to install all of the requirements for either of these routes.
Items marked with * are used for static consists or decoration. You can play the scenarios without them, but some cosmetic items will be missing.
