Today TPE have been hit hard with MULTIPLE 802 failures giving them no choice but to replace what would be normally run by an 802 with a 3 car 185 that they had as a spare unit. Not only will you be driving a different consist, but on your way to Newcastle due to request by the TOC you will also be making a stop at Thirsk before Northallerton due to an earlier service being cancelled. The weather today is looking clear all the way along your journey from York – Newcastle meaning your drive should be faultless.
