DESCRIPTION: It’s a drizzly late-autumn afternoon here in central Scotland, and you’re at the controls of ScotRail’s Inter7City service 1H13, the 14:38 Sunday’s only Glasgow Queen Street to Elgin. You’ll be working the train as far as Dunblane, driving a 2+4 shortened HST set formed of refurbished Inter7City coaches. The wet conditions have left the rails slick, so take care when accelerating out of Queen Street’s steep tunnel and climbing through Cowlairs. Year: 2021
