In 2017 Virgin Trains East Coast, as many operators before and LNER have since, extended 1 of their peak time services between London and Leeds up the Airdale line to Skipton. In 2017 this was booked for a Class 91 and MkIV set. On a warm summer evening you’re in charge of 91110 leading the down service, with part 1 taking you as far as Peterborough, the first calling point for the 2017 timetable.
