This scenario takes place on ATS’ Kings Cross to Kings Lynn and Peterborough Route, and is an updated version of my original, now making use of AP’s new VP185 HST pack and 66 EP 2.0. 

A weekend possession of the line between Biggleswade and Peterborough during Easter 2016 meant all VTEC services were being diverted via Cambridge.

Take 43 058 (with a somewhat poorly 43 060 on the rear) working a diverted 1D09 Kings Cross to Leeds as far as Peterborough.

This scenario is quite intensive on memory. To avoid out of memory errors, it is recommended that you first load the included “Kings Cross Free Roam” scenario, and hover around up to Hornsey Depot to allow some of the game tiles to load before quitting and opening up the scenario itself. 

Installation

Unzip the folder containing the scenarios and copy the “Content” folder  into your Railworks directory. 

Requirements

Please ensure you have the latest version of the Kings Cross to Kings Lynn and Peterborough Route installed for this scenario to work correctly. The route was updated in July 2025 to coincide with the Middleton Towers extension.
