1C33 11:32 London Paddington – Bristol TM (1997, Updated)
9th May 2025Updated May 16th 2025, to modify a few things and add markers where the TSR’s are.
An updated scenario on SWEXR of a previous scenario of mine to swap out some discontinued stock and add some new features.
Description: In the Winter 1996-1997 timetable, a total of four main engineering periods were booked for all weekends. The second of which, from 18 January to 23 February resulted in portions of the Great Western and South Wales Mainlines being closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Great Western Intercity services bound for South Wales and Bristol found themselves diverted via Newbury and Bath Spa. With that being said, you find yourself at Reading having just arrived from London with a Bristol bound HST.

Great scenario with plenty of Valenta action! Thank you.
Some notes:
– The rear power car is a VP185 one so it will show the “engine stopped” light in the leading car, probably just an AP scripting minor issue (I mean, I don’t even think it is supposed to work!)
– Shouldn’t we get the ATP supervision back at the junction before Bath?
– Signal B20 has to be treated as red first, before being tabbed!
Hello, the scenario has been updated to change a few things around, although the B20 signal note was already known and listed in the F1 briefing. As for the ATP changing back over to full supervision, that was done as an assumption. I have no idea where the proper changeover would be coming back from Bradford Junction.
