1A50 15:15 Alton – London Waterloo
8th August 2024Take on this afternoon service 1A50 from Alton to London Waterloo. Departing Alton at 15:15 you will traverse the mainly single track up to Farnham, before carrying on up the scenic branchline until after Ash Vale, where you will join the South Western Mainline at the junction before Brookwood. At New Malden you will switch onto the Up Fast, running non stop into Clapham Junction and then Waterloo. You have a clear path up to Vauxhall, with no expected delays.
This semi-fast service calls at: Alton, Farnham, Aldershot, Ash Vale, Brookwood, Woking, West Byfleet, Surbiton, Clapham Junction and London Waterloo.

Thanks for making this, a great scenario overall. If I could just make a few suggestions:
– I might be worth telling people this uses the default 455 stock as the AP pack improves the 455 immensely. Also the 455 and 707s are SWT, which they should be SWR
– Trains are usually get crossed over at the first junction after Surbiton, across the 60mph points from the UP SLOW to UP FAST
– It might be worth adding PIS destinations to AI trains to make it more realistic
– I had a real performance hit around Wimbledon and Clapham due to AI in the depot. Although it makes it more realistic, it might be worth giving people an option with less AI?

I was hoping to remake this scenario at some point with updated stock and routing, as this was one of my earliest scenarios.
I did cut a few services from the Waterloo – Surbiton section, due to instability, but I will also look at less AI in depots.
I wasn’t aware that we could add PIS to AI services, do you know how this is achieved? I’ve had a quick google search but I haven’t managed to find anything useful.

This scenario appears to be packaged incorrectly – it’s directed to the main Railworks folder instead of the PDL V1.4 route (Content\Routes\a7037b8a-e8cf-4963-847f-58469a87c0d5\Scenarios)
