In the 2017 Virgin Trains East Coast operated a single daily roundtrip between London Kings Cross and Bradford Forster Square in the peak direction. The up service was known as the West Riding Limited due to its limited calling pattern with stops at just Shipley, Leeds and Wakefield Westgate. The service was booked for a Class 91 and Mk4 set, but this package includes 4 different versions of the working (with different weather patterns and tweaked AI) using each of the rolling stock combinations that VTEC could have deployed in 2017: The booked Class 91, an MTU powered 2+9 HST, a Mk4 set with hired DB Cargo Class 90, or the popular VP185 powered 2+8 HST.

This scenario was intended to be released as part of a pack, but when trying to keep the workings as accurate as possible using photographs from 2017 I found that the requirements list for a single pack would be far too high when the majority of them would only appear in 1 or 2 individual scenarios. They will all be uploaded individually, 10 are complete so far but I intend to keep making more until I cannot stand to drive the ECML anymore.  

 

All 4 versions have been run end to end 3 times to ensure functionality. Included are 2 free roam scenarios for those that need to preload, on my system they work just if I preload Leeds and fly to Doncaster, but I’ve found for smoothest running load Kings Cross and fly the full length of the route. This is not a 1 size fits all solution, I expect you will know better than me what works best for your system and installation.
