07:55 Inverness to London Kings Cross – “The Highland Chieftain” (2003)
17th June 2025This is a scenario for the DP Simulation’s Edinburgh to Glasgow – Extension to Carstairs route. You are driving the 07:55 GNER service from Inverness to London Kings Cross betweeen Stirling and Edinburgh, where the Newcastle based crew will relieve you. Your calling points are Falkirk Grahamston, Haymarket and Edinburgh where you are due to arrive at 11:16.
Falkirk Grahamston has a short platform for a HST, so you will have to stop the train at the end of the platform, with the leading power car slightly over the edge.
Unfortunately for you there are a number of delayed trains in the area, so keep an eye out for the signals. Don’t go too fast when approaching Haymarket or you will get caught by the TPWS grids on the track.
The player and AI trains are based on the Autumn 2003 timetables. Freight AI is fictional.

to install the scenario, unzip the folder and move it into the route folder mentioned in the readme, this will be in your Railworks/Content/Routes folder.
Yes, that’s the exact title of the route. Yes I’ve just checked the readme and it looks like I wrote it out in a slightly different format.

i also couldn’t find the virign patch,the linked 1 isn’t correct.
For me this route is broken no lighting,no track,as is the train.
Could u make a version that uses AP’s latest HST pack,and on a differnt route?
I put an extra line in the scenario description, showing where the correct folder will be. I think that must be something wrong with your PC rather than the scenario, as it is a workshop route it might be a good idea to delete and redownload it from Steam Workshop. If you copy and paste the link to the Virgin reskin, then it should give you the option to save to your downloads, alternatively you can swap it for the AP version, as I don’t have the AP HST Pack, at the moment I only have Enhancement Packs.
