I recently downloaded a free reskin from a well-known supplier .I have used this source many times with no problems .This time Norton came up with a virus warning ,virus name was Heur.AdvMLC. Then windows defender came up with “do not install this program it is not safe” .I contacted the supplier and they said no way did the download have a virus .They said it was a false positive .Would anyone say it OK to install .I have not put the suppliers name.
Sounds like Norton did it’s job by using Heur.AdvMLC to detect a dangerous file, with Windows Defender, you can quarantine the file that was deemed to be dangerous and permanently delete it off your system
