I downloaded the Azuma skin for the 801 and ran the .bat file. But I can’t get the thing to work, and it appears I’m not the only one running into trouble.
Is anyone able to explain detailed how to get the reskin to work so we can use it on the ECML? In light of many of us being forced to stay in house the coming period I think many would appreciate getting the Azuma on the route.
Took me all evening yesterday and a good few hours today, but I have it working now.
What I did:
– Extracted the .AP package with 7zip into its own folder (and left it untouched)
– Installed the Hitachi reskin that can be found somewhere else (for folder structure)
– copied the geo files into the Hitachi model and cleared the cache of the game
– copied the geo files into the LNER model and cleared the cache of the game
– Ran the test track and it loaded fine.
I installed the 800 in the following DIR:
The Class801Pack01 folder now looks like this:
