Class 221 Ex-Virgin Trains West Coast (NWC)
23rd May 2020With triangle.png now at the helm of the West Coast Mainline, their new livery has been applied to the Voyag…. nah never mind. They’re all still in Virgin without the white swoosh and logo, except for 101 which looks incredibly tatty at one end, with tape covering up their own logo? I don’t get it either.

I’m having issues trying to download the Reskin.
I keep getting this problem with the .geomod.
It says it can’t locate the supervoyager engine from the assets folder. And it should be in the railworks folder, any ideas how I can fix it?
My installation seemed to go OK but I still get the Virgin name on the cab when I choose the ‘Ex-Virgin’ 220 in the Scenario Editor. Any idea what’s gone wrong ?
Presume you mean 221 not 220 – I would think the Geomod hasn’t worked, can you run the batch again after ensuring Geomod.exe is also in the railworks folder please?
Awesome job, Could you do 221 101 unbranded for NWC aswell as that would be nice to see.
Hi not related to the reskin but since you mentioned it if I bought TS2018 from a 3rd party seller would NWC install onto TS2020 rather than TS2018 as a new game? sorry for going off topic just thought I would ask as NWC is a DLC I really want.
When you pop the Key into Steam that the third party seller provides, Steam recognises you have the most up to date version of the game already, and simply just installs the associated DLC with the year you bought. It won’t revert your sim back to 2018 or anything horrible 🙂
Just keep your wits about you, there’s plenty of sites but I would encourage you check via Google to see if the site is reputable.
Do you get the Chinese characters on the Class 220/221 Virgin on the North Wales DLC?
Personally yes but I think it’s down to which key vendor you buy it from

I’ve not had the issue I’m afraid :/ Maybe take it up with DTG? I know you may have purchased from a third party seller but the game should still be in English…
I did, Fanatical I think, but I read a review on steam from the achieve and someone had mentioned from steam itself
Just to confirm, it’s only the engine start\stop that’s in Chinese, the rest of the button overlay is English
Is there any third party websites you would reccomend.
Having had a very quick look I can’t see more than a handful of places selling TS2018 keys. If you find one for a decent price, just Google “is X website legit”. Best answers are generally reddit posts.

nice job, just thought I’d mention that NWC is packaged with TS2018, not 2017 (which is SWC if I remember correctly)
It’s been so long I’d forgotten, and hadn’t checked – now amended!
I don’t think the Virgin shield still being there is a fault, they’re like that in reality! Even the XC ones still have badge ‘scars’.
A lot of them have the remnants of a stick-on shield rather than cast. Had it have been possible I would have gone with that style.
