2H31 17:14 Moorgate to Luton

Hello! This is one scenario for DTG’s “BedPan – Midland Mainline” route…

DESCRIPTION:
In 2002, Thameslink began hiring four Class 317/1 units from WAGN to allow it to run additional Bedford and Luton to Moorgate services. Unlike when units were hired to LTS Rail, specific units were not involved. Today, this is still ongoing at peak hours to provide extra capacity. However, unlike before they are only hired in for a short-term notice. Typically, two units each week are transferred in each direction. This evening after a set swap, 317s no. 337 and 344 have been diagrammed to work 2H31 from Moorgate – you pick up the service at Kings Cross Thameslink. Year: 2009
