Background:

Good evening driver, today you are joining the train here at Edinburgh Waverley at 2010 and driving the final leg of the mammoth journey from Penzance, where the unit 221125 set off some 11 hours earlier! This scenario is separated into two parts, in Part 1 of the scenario you will depart Waverley at 2014 before calling at Haymarket and Inverkeithing before heading around the Inner Fife Circle via Dunfermline and Cowdenbeath on DTG’s Fife Circle line, before the first part of the scenario comes to an end at Glenrothes. Glenrothes is then the starting point for Part 2 of the scenario where you will rejoin the Scottish East Coast Mainline (by JustTrains) at Thornton North Junction before taking the train north to Dundee calling at Markinch, Ladybank, Cupar, Leuchars and finally Dundee.
