Summary
On a September morning you are in charge of this service which acts as a commuter service to Bristol before slotting into the regular half-hourly frequency between Bristol and London. Year : 1999.

Scenario run-through
This scenario should last around 180 minutes. Your HST set worked the 21.30 from Paddington last night and has been stabled in Exeter overnight. Once on the move you are booked to call at Tiverton Parkway, Taunton, Bridgwater, Highbridge & Burnham, Weston-super-Mare, Weston Milton, Yatton, Nailsea & Backwell, Bristol Temple Meads, Bath Spa, Chippenham, Swindon, Reading, and London Paddington. Unfortunately this journey will not go according to plan, thanks to a signalling failure in the Swindon area. Fortunately, both you and your senior conductor sign the route via the Berks and Hants route. There is a 30mph emergency speed restriction in place shortly after Highbridge & Burnham station.
